Procedure to enter service mode - Correction to previous article
Whilst holding down Vol up button on TV and Standby button on remote control, switch on set with the on /off switch. Release the buttons to enter the service mode. To memorise settings hold down yellow memory button until set switches out of service mode

Procedure to enter service mode - Whilst keeping Vol button on front of set down, turn on TV by pressing power button on set.
Release both buttons simultaneously, press standby button on remote within 3 secs. Select function by pressing program and make adjustments with Vol on r/c. To save your changes press yellow text button, To quit menu without saving press TV/AV

Tripping
Replace line output transistor TR16. Resolder capacitor C68 as will blow transistor again if not resoldered
